Let us look at fashion trends that make an appearance for summer time.

Summer means shorts, minis and this time the hot pants are hot. In addition boy shorts are making an appearance. So hit the gym tone up those legs. The knee high socks are back too. They could be of any length just over the knee, thigh high or over tights.

The denim fabric is always in fashion and why should this summer be any exception. Make denim stand out with shirts, overcoats or combining them with whites and other pastel shades. Do not stick to the regular jeans but try out the rompers, jumpsuits, leggings in denims. On that note making an appearance this summer in the one piece section are the play-suits, jumpsuits and rompers.

Military outfits are a big must have this season. Be it the military shades of green, khaki or the cuts everything is great. Go in for a fitted cut with the shirts and jackets to appear feminine with the military style.

Pants and shorts with patterns on them are a huge hit too. No more plain boring colors. Instead flowers, abstract patterns, bold prints are in. It need not be crazy chaotic stuff, just simple details at the ankles, basic tie and dye stuff or small prints are also good.

Plaids in big or small prints are in fashion this summer and can be worn for a formal or casual occasion. Two plaid pieces can also be mixed to create a new look but if you are not sure do not experiment. Team up plaid with a plain color for a smart look.

Shirt-dresses looks good on all body types and a knee length shirt-dress is a perfect dress for women to wear to the office. For a more glamorous do you could go with the formal gown with a high slit rather than stick to short gowns when you hit the town in the evening.

Pay attention to your footwear this season. Add more details to your sandals along with some height and you are set. Wedges the summer wear is good as usual. Just add more prints and details to your footwear this summer. Like the high socks the ankle boots too are a favorite. Wear them with leggings or minis to create a dramatic effect.

The hot color of the season is orange; make sure your wardrobe carries at least one piece of orange clothing. It could be any shade of orange from peach to the eye popping orange anything that suits you is good enough. Softer shades of orange are better and can be matched with any neutral shade.

Accessories with a handbag that has fringes or tassels would do nicely to complete your attire.
